These taller ones are kind of roomy at the top if you have narrow calves, whereas the mid-length styles leave less space for grass clippings to enter. Great design & workmanship. "I bought these boots 1 year ago. At the end of summer the left foot cracked. I tried duct tape didnt work. I keep wearing them because the still "look" good. Then today my right heel got wet and I realized where the heel meets the upper iys pulled away. So disappointed. I think I should get more than 1 year of use from them. I dont wear them every day."
